Join us for an evening in conversation with Toral Shah - the Urban Kitchen.

Toral is a nutritional scientist and chef - she has a BSc in Cell Biology from UCL and an MSc in Nutritional Medicine from University of Surrey. Her MSc thesis focussed on the importance of diet and nutrition in the prevention of breast cancer recurrence. Toral is passionate about real food which is delicious and nutrient dense, for both eating pleasure and optimum health. She is now working on her first book explaining the science behind cancer preventing foods and sharing some of her innovative and tasty recipes.

We will kick things off with Kombucha, our flax seed crackers, and biotic hummus and then gather in the comfy, communal area of our Duke Street shop and pick Toral's brain on the role diet and gut health play in supporting our immune system, and how best we can support ourselves during cold and flu season in particualr. Supper will be a selection of our signature High salads, packed with the probiotic benefits of fermented foods, and the evening will end at 8:30, complete with goodie bags.

Date & Time: Tue 21st November, 19:00 - 21:00
